Extendor® Eclipse Grilles And Cages Certified To Lps 1175
Issue 6 Security Rating 3
Extendor® Eclipse security grilles and cages have been certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to LPS 1175 Issue 6 Security Rating 3. The Extendor Eclipse is the only grille system certified to LPS 1175 Issue 6 SR3 having proven its resistance against bolt croppers, scissor jack, crow bar, battery drill and a wide range of hand tools.
Only products successfully tested under Issue 6 of LPS 1175 are approved by government for the protection of hazardous substances and vulnerable equipment within the Critical National Infrastructure.
The Extendor® Eclipse grille certification covers a range of installation conditions which provides the flexibility needed to achieve the specified installation standards for products certified to LPS 1175 SR3.
The cage certification covers stand alone installations on solid floors and is the first to be approved for installations on raised access floors such as those used in data centres. The Eclipse cages are custom designed shapes and sizes specific to each application. All installations allow line of sight and free air flow for air conditioning and fire detection and suppression.
The strength of the security provided by Extendor® grilles was confirmed in successful bomb blast tests where the grilles remained fully secure and functional after absorbing the impact of laminated glass or glass treated with anti shatter film. The most significant benefit was that the risk of injury to occupants was minimised if laminated glass or anti shatter film was used.
Professional Barrier Systems designs, manufactures and installs the Extendor® grilles and cages and is a an LPCB ISO 9001:2000 registered company and licensee of Secured By Design.
